He is one of the lesser known furniture designers, whose woprk has suddenly been noticed and demand has been rising. His work is being acknowledged all over the world, and has been exhibited in New York’s MoMa and in La Triennale in Milano, Italy. He started his career as a shipbuilder but it was furniture designs that developed to be his driving force. In 1947 he got his own studio from where he worked as Furniture designer. During his career he developed all types of modern furniture and worked with many of the leading Scandinavian furniture factories of the period.
