    Quadruple silver-plated metal. Impressed marks "PAT.JUNE.14.1904 / B / VICTOR SILVER CO. / QUADRUPLE PLATE / 02508" Height : 29 cm. (repair on one foot) Founded in 1872 in Derby, Connecticut the company produced silver-plated tableware & hollowware. Successful expansion resulted in showrooms in New York, Chicago & San Francisco. It ultimately merged with a consortium of Connecticut silver companies, and produced Art Nouveau ware under the brand name "Victor Silver co." A victim of the depression it closed in 1933.
